Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IBF Inspection Operative on a part-time weekend rota in Ashford, Sevington site. Shifts run Saturday and Sunday, 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00, with overtime at 22.20 per hour available.

The role covers the full inspection flow from unloading trailers to presenting goods, using MHE, reporting, and updating the PINC Yard Management System while adhering to health & safety standards.

Qualifications

Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environment.
Strong warehouse system experience.
Solid knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
Experience working to targets.
Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day inspection operations from off-loading trailers to presenting goods for inspection and reloading onto trailers.
Load and unload lorries, using manual handling and MHE like roller cages.
Complete manual and electronic reporting as required.
Follow on-site partner instructions to support the inspection process.
Update the PINC Yard Management System after training.
Carry out tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives.
Maintain a safe inspection environment following COSHH awareness.
Assist drivers with locating bays and directions to bays and offices.
Promote a health and safety culture.
