Job summary

ICare Group is seeking an empathetic Home Care Worker (Driver Required) to support clients across Blackpool FY4 and surrounding areas. You will visit clients in their own homes, providing compassionate personal care and practical assistance while adhering to care plans.

You'll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with flexible weekend hours. ICare offers comprehensive training, ongoing support and a positive, values-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and reliable character required for in-home support.
• Willingness to work weekends on a rolling rota is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle are required.
• Able to travel across Blackpool FY4 area and surrounding communities.
• Full training provided by ICare Group.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition.
• Give medication prompts and follow care plans.
• Conduct wellbeing and safety checks and maintain a safe home environment.
• Support with light household tasks and companionship.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Promote independence and person-centred care.
• Collaborate with a care team to deliver consistent support.
• Travel between clients' homes across the Blackpool FY4 community.
