Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Home Care Workers to support clients in Blackpool (FY4) and surrounding areas. You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Flexible hours are available, including weekends, with paid mileage between calls and weekly pay.

You’ll receive extensive training, benefits and ongoing support as part of a caring team dedicated to helping people live independently at home.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Blackpool (FY4) area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Blackpool community.
