Job summary

Swegon UK&I in Snodland, Kent, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) for a weekend pattern (Fri-Sun 06:00-18:00). You will provide electrical expertise, perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support site facilities at our Waterloo site and other Swegon locations.

The role requires five years of industrial maintenance experience, ability to read schematics, safe isolation, and an electrical Level 3 qualification with 18th Edition.

Qualifications

Recognised Level 3 qualification in electrical maintenance or electrotechnical engineering (apprenticeship or equivalent).
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
Full Driving Licence.
Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills; maintenance records and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery, motors, drives and control circuits.
Respond to breakdowns and perform safe repairs for production continuity.
Carry out routine mechanical repairs within competence (bearings, belts, guards, pneumatic components).
Support building and facilities maintenance and equipment installations.
