Job summary

Nellsar is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant for Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home in Canvey Island, Essex. The role offers 44 hours per week on a 4-shift rota, including every other weekend, with an hourly rate from £12.71.

You will provide outstanding physical, emotional and social support to residents, ensuring dignity and person-centred care, with on-going training and progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
• Ensuring care plans, assessments and risk assessments and other care documentation in place to support residents are followed accordingly.
• Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents.
• Maintaining the residents' independence, privacy, and dignity always.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all care given, onto our software package (handheld devices).
• Ensuring Infection Control procedures are always adhered to.
