Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking experienced Dermatology Surgical Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join their team. You will play a critical role in supporting NHS waiting list initiatives, assisting with minor operations while maintaining high standards of patient care.

This role offers flexible weekend scheduling and the chance to work alongside highly skilled dermatology consultants. We're looking for passionate individuals with recent hands-on experience in dermatology surgical environments.

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience supporting dermatology surgical lists.
• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant within an NHS dermatology surgical setting.
• Experience assisting with minor surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparing treatment rooms and surgical equipment.
• Assisting clinicians during Minor Operations and Complex Minor Operations.
• Preparing patients for procedures and providing reassurance throughout their treatment.
• Maintaining aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards.
