Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Saturday Retail Sales Advisor to provide outstanding in-store service and support the branch operations.

You will help customers choose products, mix paint, handle specialist orders, and contribute to a busy weekend team. No prior product knowledge required; full training will be provided. This part-time role includes pension, life assurance, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
• Approachable, friendly personality, able to help both customers and colleagues.
• Enjoys working in a team but can also work independently.
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required.
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, delivering on Brewers service reputation.
• Use product knowledge to recommend the best product for customer needs.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the branch network.
• Develop sales of wallpaper, paint and fabric products.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch and unload deliveries.
• Keep the warehouse organized and safe according to company standards.
