Sodexo is seeking a Weekend Cook at Trent House Approved Premises in Nottingham. This weekend role involves preparing and serving meals for residents and staff, with independent kitchen duties and a focus on safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cooking or catering role.
• Ability to work weekends and lone-working kitchen role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and customer service.
• Willingness to work within Approved Premises environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for residents and staff on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Organise workload to have meals ready on time during shifts.
• Manage kitchen operations independently while on duty.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor ingredients, utensils and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety, allergen and health and safety procedures.
• Communicate meal requirements and supplies with site staff.
• Maintain professional and respectful interactions with residents and colleagues.
