Cygnet Conifers, a seven-bed residential home operated by Cygnet Health Care, seeks a Weekend Cook to prepare and serve meals across Saturdays and Sundays. The role involves working with nursing staff on dietary needs and supervising kitchen duties when the Head Chef is away.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for residents, staff and visitors.
• Liaise with nursing colleagues to meet patients’ nutritional needs.
• Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room and service areas.
• Supervise kitchen staff when deputising for the Head Chef.
• Maintain personal hygiene to standard and follow food hygiene regulations.
• Handle, maintain and store kitchen equipment safely and in line with procedures.
• Follow COSHH regulations when using chemicals.
