Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Weekend Collection Driver for Saturdays and Sundays at our Dartford depot, delivering IKEA orders to Tesco stores around London. The role is part-time, 8 hours per day, with a permanent contract and a salary of £12,674.44 per year.

You will load orders, perform vehicle checks, and use a POD system, with a focus on reliability and clear communication with customers and stores.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and good teamwork.
• Good communication skills and punctuality.
• Physical ability to lift/move items and multi-drop experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Labeling and loading IKEA orders onto the 3.5T van at the depot.
• Delivering to two Tesco stores in the London area.
• Contacting customers to arrange collection within allocated times.
• Using a POD system to manage the process.
• Carrying out vehicle checks at start and end of journeys and reporting defects.
