Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Weekend Collection Driver for Saturdays and Sundays at our Dartford depot, delivering IKEA orders to Tesco stores around London. The role is part-time, 8 hours per day, with a permanent contract and a salary of £12,674.44 per year.

You will load orders, perform vehicle checks, and use a POD system, with a focus on reliability and clear communication with customers and stores.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and good teamwork.
• Good communication skills and punctuality.
• Physical ability to lift/move items and multi-drop experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to two Tesco stores in the London area.
• Contacting customers to arrange collection within allocated times.

At GXO Logistics we are looking for dedicated Weekend Collection Drivers to join our Click & Collect team at Dartford, working on our IKEA contract.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 8 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays.

As a Collection Driver you will be loading orders from our Dartford site and delivering to customers at the Click & Collect locations at Tesco stores in London.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Labelling and loading IKEA orders onto the 3.5T Van at the depot
• Delivering them to 2 Tesco Stores in the London area
• Contacting customers to arrange collection within the allocated times.
• Using a POD system to manage the process
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid driving licence (max 6 points)
• A positive, can do attitude
• Reliability, good communication and teamwork
• Physical capability to lift/move items
• Multi drop experience is useful but not essential
