Job summary

Sodexo in Eccles is seeking a Weekend Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming site. You’ll play an important role in upholding high standards of cleanliness across the site, in a friendly, supportive team.

This part-time weekend role runs 8 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday, 07:00–11:00) at £12.71 per hour. You’ll follow health and safety procedures, complete training including BPSS checks, and contribute to a well-presented workplace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or facilities role.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Willing to complete training including BPSS checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep the site clean across kitchens, meeting rooms, offices and toilets.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Keep essential supplies topped up (toilet roll, blue roll, soap, sanitiser, wipes).
• Follow health and safety procedures including COSHH and PPE usage.
• Provide cover for holidays and support other areas as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the team.

Join our friendly team in Eccles as a Weekend Cleaner and help us keep our site clean, safe and welcoming.

You’llplay an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite, working as part of a supportive team.

This is a great opportunity forsomeone who takes pride in their work and is looking for consistent weekendhours.

What you’ll do: Keep our site looking its best by completing scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, offices, toilets and other areas.

Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the site.

Keep essential supplies topped up, including toilet roll, blue roll, hand soap, sanitiser and hand wipes.

Follow all health and safety procedures, including COSHH, infection control, security requirements and the correct use of PPE. Work safely and responsibly, reporting any hazards, safety concerns, faulty equipment or other issues to your Line Manager.

Have a flexible approach to your role, supporting other areas of the site and providing cover for holidays and absence when required.

What you bring: Previous experience in a similar cleaning or facilities role, ideally within a corporate office environment.

Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.

A reliable and proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently while also being a supportive team member.

Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and working in line with relevant data protection and security requirements.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards at all times.

Willingness to complete any training required for the role, including first aid and security awareness, and to successfully complete the required BPSS security checks.
