Job summary

Sodexo Group in Stoke on Trent is seeking a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team. You’ll help keep facilities clean, safe and welcoming, working as part of a team to complete day-to-day cleaning duties.

Full training will be provided; no prior experience required. You will follow health, safety and COSHH procedures, wear PPE, and participate in security checks where applicable. Sodexo offers employee benefits and opportunities to develop your career within a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
• Willing to complete required training and follow all health, safety, security and COSHH procedures.
• Willing to undergo the required security checks, including BPSS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across areas such as kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets and offices.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and replenish supplies such as toilet roll, hand soap and sanitiser.
• Follow all company policies, including infection control, security and COSHH requirements, and complete required training.
• Work safely at all times by wearing the correct PPE and following Sodexo procedures.
• Report any safety concerns, faulty equipment or other issues to your manager, and be flexible to support other areas when needed.
