Job summary

AWD online is recruiting a Cook to join a friendly catering team in Stanwell. This weekend role focuses on preparing and cooking meals for residents and guests in a busy resident restaurant service, ensuring high quality and attention to dietary needs.

You will also manage basic catering administration, record meals sold, share resident feedback with the Chef Manager and uphold hygiene, health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous catering and hands-on food preparation experience.
• Ability to commute to Stanwell (TW19).
• Ability to engage professionally and compassionately with elderly and vulnerable customers and their families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to attend initial face-to-face training sessions on a weekday, where required.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and cook meals for a busy resident restaurant service.
• Provide high-quality meals for residents and guests, considering dietary and cultural requirements.
• Follow resident food profiles to support individual needs and preferences.
• Complete catering administration and record meals sold; report resident feedback to the Chef Manager.
• Maintain hygiene, health and safety standards and customer service.
