Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Cheltenham is seeking a Sales Assistant for a part-time weekend role (13 hours). You will be at the heart of our charity retail operation, delivering first-class customer service, handling till duties, and assisting with donations and stock merchandising.

You’ll join a fast-paced store that trades 7 days a week and work on a rota including weekends and bank holidays. Prior retail experience isn’t essential; enthusiasm and team spirit are prized while supporting

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and sustainability values.
• Ability to work well in a team and guide volunteers on the shop floor.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Good attention to detail and proactive in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and promote the charity's mission.
• Organise and merchandise donated stock to maximise sales.
• Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to support online sales.
• As a Keyholder, act as on-duty lead to keep the store running.
