Dean's Scarborough Garden Centre is seeking a Catering Assistant to work weekends in our on-site restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, and assist with beverages and meals while keeping the dining area clean and welcoming for every visitor.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working in a catering environment – (preferable but not mandatory).
• Friendly and sociable.
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Is flexible to work additional shifts and weekends if required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of restaurant procedures

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and seating customers
• Taking customer orders
• Assist with menu and beverage recommendations
• Preparing and serving beverage and food orders
• Setting tables
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Cleaning tables and removing used cutlery
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen and staff members
• Reporting to shifts on time in impeccable uniform.
