Job summary

A24 Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking Weekend Casual Sales Assistants for our Garden Shop & Plant Centre ahead of the busy Christmas period. You will join a friendly retail team, report to the Assistant Manager, and enjoy a lively, festive environment during our lights event.

This role is weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) with possible extra hours in the week. A customer-focused, reliable and punctual attitude is valued; previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, helpful customer service on the shop floor
• Operating the till and processing sales accurately
• Keeping displays, shelves and plant areas well stocked and presentable
• Supporting evening trade during our festive lights event
• Assisting with general shop duties as directed by the Assistant Manager

Weekend Casual Sales Assistant – Garden Shop & Plant Centre

Department: Retail
Contract Type: Zero-hours contract, paid for hours worked only
Working Pattern: Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday), with additional hours in the week when needed. Must be willing to work late-night shifts for our festive lights event, e.g. 16:00–22:00

About the Role

We're recruiting weekend casual Sales Assistants to join our Garden Shop & Plant Centre ahead of the busy Christmas period. This is a great opportunity for a friendly, customer-focused individual to be part of a lively retail team during one of our busiest and most festive times of year, including our seasonal lights event. You'll report to the Assistant Manager.

• Available to work weekends, with flexibility for late-night shifts during the festive period
• Reliable and punctual, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
