Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant for Melwood Grange in Royston. This part-time weekend role offers 10–15 hours weekly with a pay of £13.96 per hour, working either 7.30am–2.30pm or 2.30pm–9.30pm at Desbrow Lane, Royston.

You will provide compassionate, person-centred care, assisting with washing, dressing, meals and daily activities to support residents’ independence. Training is provided and DBS checks are offered.

Qualifications

• Empathetic with positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to care for older people with compassion and respect.
• Willingness to participate in training and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Promote independence and daily activity through supportive care.
• Follow personalised care plans and work as part of a team.
