Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Chef Supervisor for weekend breakfast service. You will be the sole on-site team member, handling food preparation, cooking, customer service, till operations, and vending machine restocking.

The role requires a minimum of two years of culinary experience and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, with a focus on delivering high-quality food and service. This is a part-time position at 7am–12pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the daily breakfast service, ensuring high-quality food and customer experience.
• Prepare, cook, and present breakfast items to company standards.
• Serve customers efficiently and professionally.
• Operate the till and handle transactions accurately.
• Replenish vending machines and displays to keep products available.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Manage stock, ordering and waste minimisation.
• Open and close catering operations as required.
• Work independently to ensure smooth running of site.
