Job summary

art-K Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Self-Employed Party Leaders for arty birthday parties on weekends. Each 2-hour session includes pre-party communication, setup and tidy up, with studios located in London, Leeds, Brighton, Bristol and the South East.

Training includes 2 shadowing sessions, DBS checks funded by the self-employed person, and a £22 per hour rate covering prototype prep, studio setup, the party, and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Second-year student in an art-related university course.
• Proven experience working with children aged 5–6 and older.
• Strong proficiency in art mediums: watercolour, acrylics, and air-dried clay.
• Positive, proactive, and customer-service oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with parents to plan each party and ensure a seamless experience.
• Set up studio ambience and prep projects in line with the birthday person’s requests.
• Lead engaging art workshops for party-goers with varying skill levels.
• Support children to complete their art projects and encourage creativity.
• Clean up and reset the studio after each party.
