Job summary

art-K Limited is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Self-Employed Party Assistants for its arty birthday parties on weekends. You will help with studio setup, run 2-hour sessions alongside the Party Leader, and handle tidy up to keep spaces welcoming for the next party.

Support the children through creative workshops, encourage experimentation, and maintain high standards of safety and service while ensuring a fun, memorable experience for every birthday celebration.

Qualifications

• Working towards art A level, Foundation or Art degree.
• Sufficient knowledge in various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and air‑dried clay.
• Experience working with children from Year 1 (aged 5-6) and upwards (desired).
• Positive, proactive, and customer-service‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Studio setup and ambience: Assist the Party leader in creating an ambient studio environment, set the music up and prepare projects as requested.
• Art workshop: Assist the Party leader with workshops, foster a positive and encouraging environment, spark creativity and experimentation.
• Clean‑up: Maintain high cleanliness standards by tidying the studio after each class, leaving a welcoming space for the next session.
