Job summary

art-K is seeking enthusiastic Self-Employed Party Assistants to join weekend birthday parties at its studios in London, Leeds, Brighton, Bristol and the South East. Each 2‑hour party includes a 1‑hour setup and 30 minutes cleanup, with you helping the Party leader create a friendly art-themed experience for children aged 5 and up.

You will assist with workshops, keep the space tidy, and help during breaks. Applicants should be studying art (A level, Foundation or degree) and know watercolour,

Qualifications

• Working towards art A level, Foundation or Art degree.
• DBS check cost covered by the self-employed person, facilitated by art-K.
• Experience working with children aged 5 and up is preferred.
• Sufficient knowledge in various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and air-dried clay.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tidy studio for each party.
• Assist the Party leader with art workshops and encourage attendees.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards before and after each session.
• Support the Party leader during breaks and activities.
