Berkeley Scott is recruiting a School Catering Assistant in Walsall, offering weekday hours and regular shifts in a school environment. You will support meal prep, service to pupils and staff, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

The role requires prior catering or kitchen porter experience, a valid Enhanced DBS, and a flexible, reliable attitude. Driving licence helps for travel between locations; Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Awareness certificates are desirable.

Qualificações

• Previous catering or kitchen porter experience.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check.
• Driving licence beneficial but not essential for occasional travel.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Food Allergen Awareness certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff.
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily catering duties.
• Washing up and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Following food allergen procedures to help protect pupils with allergies.
• Traveling between locations where necessary as part of the Catering Assistant role.
