Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support autistic adults at a near Cranleigh site in Surrey. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, all year round, focusing on helping learners gain independence and practical life skills in a modern day service setting.

You will work with autistic adults, providing daily living support and monitoring progress, in a structured environment. A valid driving licence is required for access to the Cranleigh area.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or SEN (personal or voluntary)
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviour

Responsibilities

• Support autistic adults across varied daily tasks in community settings
• Proactively manage complex behavioural needs with a calm, positive approach
• Provide respectful, dignified intimate personal care
• Monitor and record learner progress with a supportive approach
