Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an Adult Learning Support Assistant (SEN) near Cranleigh, Surrey. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, supporting autistic adults to gain independence and practical skills within a supportive day-centre environment.

The role focuses on real-world learning in a modern setting with a community café, training kitchen and garden, ensuring learners build confidence and autonomy daily.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care or SEN (personal or voluntary experience counts).
• A warm, positive demeanor with emotional resilience under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic adults across tasks in the community café, training kitchen, and outdoor garden.
• Proactively manage complex behavioural needs with a calm, positive approach.
• Provide respectful and dignified intimate personal care.
• Monitor and record learner progress to celebrate milestones.
