Job summary

Randstad Education is currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support autistic adults at an adult SEN setting near Cranleigh, Surrey. The role offers a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule with 9:00 am–5:00 pm hours and driving is essential for the commute.

You will work with adults 18+ to build independence, practical life skills, and community integration in facilities including a community café, training kitchen, and outdoor garden. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or SEN is required.
• Calm, positive demeanor with emotional resilience.
• Valid driving licence and ability to commute to Cranleigh area.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic adults across tasks in community settings (café, kitchen, garden).
• Proactively manage complex behavioural needs with a calm, positive approach.
• Provide respectful personal care to learners ensuring safety and dignity.
• Monitor learner progress and record milestones using a supportive approach.
