Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton Industrial is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Container Driver to join our client in Walsall on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, complete deliveries and collections, and maintain high safety standards.

Role offers Monday to Friday work with early starts and £17.00 per hour, regular hours, and the chance to secure ongoing work with an established logistics operation in the West Midlands.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Container experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle transporting shipping containers.
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
• Maintaining high standards of driving, safety and customer service.
• Working Monday to Friday with early morning starts.
