Job summary

Pertemps Black Country & Shropshire Drivers is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Container Driver for our client based in Walsall. Monday to Friday shifts with early starts offer predictable, weekday work in a long-term role.

You will drive Class 1 (C+E), complete deliveries and paperwork, and maintain high safety and customer service standards. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card are required; container experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Container experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday - Early Starts

We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Container Driver for our client based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent, long-term work with weekday shifts.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle transporting shipping containers.
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
• Maintaining high standards of driving, safety and customer service.
• Working Monday to Friday with early morning starts.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
