Job summary

Workforce Staffing is recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for weekday day shifts in the Birmingham area. You will perform trunking and general haulage, complete deliveries safely and on time, and conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks with proper tachograph usage.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience, hold no more than 6 points, and demonstrate reliability, punctuality and professional conduct in line with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 points on your licence; minor offences considered.
• Confident driving a Class 1 vehicle.
• Good knowledge of tachograph card usage.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and follow health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 trunking and general haulage.
• Day shifts only, Monday to Friday.
• Completing deliveries safely and on time.
• Carrying out pre- and post-vehicle checks.
• Using a tachograph card correctly and complying with drivers’ hours regulations.
