Job summary

The Barnsdale in Rutland is seeking a Wedding & Events Executive to join our Sales team. You will support the Sales Manager in growing our wedding and events business, liaising with suppliers and maintaining service excellence for clients and guests.

Responsibilities

• Support our Sales Manager in growing our business profitably reactively, with a focus on wedding & events sales.
• Have a good understanding of our competitor set, and where we sit within the market.
• Easily adaptable and eager to learn about leisure events, including weddings, private dining room, and social bookings.
• Ensure high quality service, on time and to budget by managing weddings and events to enable us to fulfil our contracted promises to clients and guests consistently.
• Liase and build partnerships with our third party suppliers and ensure a strong working relationship with each of them.
• Act as a brand ambassador for The Barnsdale ensuring that a positive brand image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers.
