Job summary

Knebworth House and Barns seeks a Wedding & Events Coordinator to drive weddings and events from enquiry to execution, working with our sales, catering and operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role demands a proactive, sales-oriented coordinator with at least two years in wedding sales or events; occasional evenings and weekends are required around weddings, with a 9am–5:30pm weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within wedding sales, event planning or hospitality, ideally at a high-profile venue.
• Experience with CRM or event management systems (Delphi or Salesforce advantageous).
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to convert enquiries into revenue.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage wedding enquiries from initial contact to confirmed booking; produce proposals and follow up leads.
• Build relationships with couples throughout planning to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Achieve sales targets through enquiry conversion, upselling and revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless event delivery and accurate client records.
