Job summary

LQ Resorts is seeking a Wedding and Events Co-ordinator to join the Sales team. You will maximise revenue and guest satisfaction by negotiating meetings, events, weddings and function bookings, coordinating cross-departmental execution aligned with the hotel’s business plan.

You will manage inquiries, coordinate show rounds, and drive relationships with clients while ensuring smooth operation across departments. Strong communication, hospitality experience and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C/4 or above in Math and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Sales experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer care face-to-face and remotely.
• Manage enquiries for events efficiently on the day of enquiry.
• Coordinate show rounds and open evenings to enhance guest experience.
• Prepare event sheets with accurate information for operations.
• Maintain up-to-date diaries and systems.
• Achieve revenue goals by following Group Sales/Marketing guidance.
• Meet and greet with planners to build client relationships.
• Interact with clients via show rounds, lunches and fam trips.
