Job summary

Lakeside Hotel & Spa in Windermere seeks a Sales & Events Coordinator to join our in-house Sales team. You’ll generate new business, convert enquiries, and coordinate weddings, celebrations and events from enquiry through to delivery.

You’ll build relationships with prospective and confirmed clients, showcasing our venue, following up opportunities, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Outbound sales and partnerships will maximise revenue.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident and professional personality with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive sales approach with outbound calling, lead generation and converting enquiries into bookings.
• Strong commercial awareness and target-driven mindset.
• Excellent organisation and time management to handle multiple enquiries and events.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Experience with hospitality systems and MS Office suite.
• Experience in hospitality, sales, weddings or events desirable.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage telephone and email enquiries; proactively follow up leads and convert opportunities into bookings.
• Generate new business through outbound calls, emails, re-engaging past enquiries and promoting weddings, celebrations, meetings and events.
• Conduct engaging sales show rounds, showcasing the hotel and tailoring the experience to prospective clients.
• Build strong client relationships, understanding requirements and maximising opportunities to upsell and increase event revenue.
• Coordinate bookings from initial enquiry through to the event, ensuring CRM records and diaries are accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with the wider hotel teams to ensure planning and delivery of events.
• Support and host weddings and events on the day, ensuring exceptional service.
• Promote the hotel through open days, exhibitions, networking and partnerships.
