Job summary

Access Computer Consulting plc is seeking a WebLogic Developer for a hybrid role in Dunstable: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote. The position sits in the Banking domain and falls inside IR35, so umbrella arrangements are required for the contract.

You'll deliver production support for WebLogic, WebSphere/WAS, and MQ on Windows and Linux, and build/propagate plug-ins for WebSphere to interact with front-end servers.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking domain.
• Proven WebLogic upgrades and migrations experience.
• Production support for WebLogic, WAS, and MQ on Windows and Linux.
• Experience generating and propagating plug-ins for WebSphere to interact with front-end servers.
• Experience deploying applications on WebLogic with load balancing, HA and failover.
• Ability to create automated deployment scripts using WLST and Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for WebLogic and related platforms.
• Assist with WebLogic upgrades and migrations in banking environments.
• Develop and maintain deployment and health-check scripts (WLST, shell).
• Coordinate load balancing, high availability, and failover configurations.
