Job summary

Infoplus Technologies UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer with strong WebLogic and J2EE expertise. You will support enterprise-scale J2EE deployments, upgrade and migrate WebLogic environments, and implement automation across Windows and Linux platforms.

The role demands solid scripting skills, familiarity with ITIL concepts, and hands-on experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Git and Bitbucket to ensure high availability and SLA adherence in a banking-domain environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking domain.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise wide Client Server technologies.
• Experience with WebLogic upgrades and migration projects.
• Production support experience of WebLogic, WAS, MQ on Windows and Linux environments.
• Generation and propagation of plug‑ins for WebSphere to interact with Front End servers for remote and local configurations.
• Deployed multiple applications on WebLogic server and maintained load balancing, high availability and failover functionality.
• Automation scripts for code deployment, monitoring, health checks and domain creation using WLST and Shell Scripting.
• Exposure to Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, BITBUCKET.
• Ability to meet SLAs and handle production outages.
• Excellent communication, analytical, debugging and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and procedures.
• Ability to scale Middleware platform horizontally and vertically.
• Scripting and automation to improve efficiency across multiple software versions and OS/hardware.
• Experience with J2EE deployments including Apache Tomcat and WebLogic.
• Responsibilities include installing, configuring, administering and supporting medium to large J2EE deployments.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting Middleware software.
