Job summary

WPP is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer for the Web Platform to join a cross-disciplinary product team. You will focus on TypeScript and C#/.NET across services, APIs and frontend apps to deliver scalable web platforms.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers and client stakeholders, contributing to DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-native architectures in Azure. A hybrid office model is in place with UK-based teams in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building modern web applications using TS and/or C#/.NET.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and C#/.NET, with depth in at least one.
• Experience developing APIs, backend services and integrations.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and DevOps/ IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve cloud-hosted web platforms using TS and C#/ .NET.
• Develop APIs and backend services and integrations with SaaS platforms.
• Contribute to TypeScript/React apps and the supporting services.
• Work across the web stack and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and stakeholders in a cross-disciplinary team.
• Support deployments, monitoring, security, performance and observability.
