Job summary

Unity Software Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Web Platform team. You will maintain and extend the Unity Web runtime, working close to the metal with C++, C# and JavaScript to improve performance for Web builds.

You will profile, debug and optimize native code, learn from experienced teammates, and help ship features to developers worldwide. This is a hands-on role with a focus on low-level systems work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development with C++.
• Familiarity with C# and/or JavaScript.
• Curiosity about browser internals and how Web tech works.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the Unity Web runtime and contribute features across the platform.
• Improve download size, load time and startup performance for Web builds.
• Profile, debug and optimize across C++, C#, and JavaScript.
• Scope work with your manager and teammates using established code patterns.
• Investigate and fix issues raised by internal teams and developers.
