Role Overview

The Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work-whether that's building scalable features, refining user interfaces, solving performance issues, or providing technical support to non-technical teams.

As part of a collaborative team, you'll have a meaningful impact on both internal tools and customer-facing platforms. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining solutions built in WordPress (PHP) and Laravel, with the opportunity to contribute to newer tech stacks and tools as the business evolves.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Build, maintain, and enhance websites and web applications primarily using WordPress and Laravel
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, content, product, and marketing teams to turn ideas into robust technical solutions
• Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Take ownership of identifying and resolving technical issues quickly and efficiently
• Performance & UX Optimization: Improve speed, accessibility, and overall user experience across digital properties
• Technical Support: Provide hands-on tech support and guidance to internal teams, enabling them to do their best work
• Tooling & Automation: Help streamline internal workflows through the introduction of automation and new tooling
• Process Improvement: Stay current on development best practices and suggest new frameworks, plugins, or approaches that improve code quality and efficiency
• Documentation & Version Control: Use Git and follow coding standards to maintain a clean, collaborative development environment
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a web development role
• Proficient with WordPress (PHP) development, including custom themes and plugins
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-particularly when working with non-technical colleagues
• Experience with Laravel
