Job summary

Heathcoat Fabrics Limited is inviting applications for a Process Operative in the Weaving department. The role focuses on supplying a constant flow of quality drawn-in warps by hand or machine, ensuring all ends are correctly drawn in and ready for loom transfer in line with SOPs and production needs.

You will be responsible for drawing-in various fabric types, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement within the department while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Departmental training and demonstrated competence in standard drawing-in activities.
• Ability to follow SOPs and Risk Assessments, attention to quality and detail, ability to complete associated records and system transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Draw in all relevant fabric types with hand or machine.
• Complete system records and Epicor transactions accurately.
• Report health and safety issues to the line manager.
• Follow Risk Assessments and SOPs at all times.
• Ensure 5S is maintained in the work area.
• Load and programme warp types into the machine.
• Carry out routine weekly clean-downs on the drawing-in machine.
• Contribute to improving machine performance and production efficiency.
