Job summary

Camira is seeking a weaving machine operator to run up to 12 looms using natural and synthetic yarns, including dobby and jacquard looms. The role requires maintaining quality standards, stopping machines if issues arise, and reporting to the team leader.

You will work on permanent night shifts with proper housekeeping and a focus on safety. The successful candidate will contribute to producing defect-free fabrics, adhering to quality procedures, and maintaining a clean and compliant production

Qualifications

• Experience weaving on dobby and jacquard looms.
• Ability to manage and weave up to 12 looms.
• Commitment to QA procedures and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage and weave up to 12 looms using natural and synthetic yarns.
• Understand and operate both dobby and jacquard looms.
• Maintain high quality standards; repair warp and weft breaks; ensure full pieces are doffed at correct length.
• Check fabrics for defects and follow quality procedures.
• Stop machines if quality issues are suspected and report to team leader/loom tuner.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work area with strong housekeeping.
