Job summary

Experis IT in London is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support and enhance a portfolio of critical wealth management applications. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with stakeholder engagement and supplier management to ensure high availability and resilience of front and back office systems.

You will work closely with business users, technology teams, and vendors to monitor performance, drive continuous service improvement, and contribute to platform

Qualifications

• Strong application support or engineering experience in financial services.
• Production support for business-critical applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Experience with third-party vendors and technology suppliers.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with integrations and batch processing.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and operational support across production environments.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service issues.
• Perform monitoring, health checks, and operational support activities.
• Ensure application availability, performance, and stability.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
