Job summary

JJ search Ltd. is recruiting a Training & Competence Supervisor for a UK Wealth Management firm in Greater London. The role focuses on ensuring best-in-class control frameworks and ongoing competency across the front office, including coaching, feedback, and data-driven risk management.

You will lead supervisory activities under T&C and SMCR, monitor CPD, and develop colleagues to improve performance and client outcomes, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years in Training & Competency within Wealth Management, Investment Management or Financial Planning.
• Minimum RQF Level 4 qualification (CISI or CII or equivalent).
• Has been assessed as a competent Supervisor under SMCR and T&C policies.
• Excellent communication skills and able to present to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office Training & Competency activities to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct observations, 1:1 coaching and feedback with Investment Managers and Wealth Planners.
• Monitor CPD development and address competence and capability issues with colleagues.
• Analyse performance and risk data, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Maintain and report on the T&C Dashboard and Risk Scorecard to senior stakeholders.
