Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution in Gloucester seeks a Wayleaves Specialist for up to 12 months. You will negotiate complex consents and agreements for distribution assets, assess impacts on customers and guide related surveys and training. A full driving licence and mapping experience are required, with DBS checks as applicable. A competitive package is offered.

The role supports estate and survey services, with opportunities to lead and improve processes within a dynamic energy network.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating complex consents, wayleaves, easements and agreements.
• Ability to assess impacts of activities on customers and communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to train and develop team members.
• Must have full and valid driving licence and be mobile across the area.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate specialist consents, wayleaves, easements and agreements in respect of the location of distribution assets.
• Assess potential impact of a specific work activity on customers and advise affected customers.
• Resolve customer complaints directly where possible.
• Investigate and report on estate related matters; exercise leadership.
• Train staff on wayleaves, easements, consents and agreements; ensure quality checks on contractors.
