National Grid Electricity Distribution in Gloucester is seeking a Wayleaves Specialist on a temporary, up-to-12-month basis. You will negotiate complex wayleaves and consents for distribution assets, settle claims, assess impacts on customers, and support tree cutting programs while training team members in estates and surveying practices.

Applicants should have strong negotiation skills, be able to communicate with landowners and Local Authorities, and hold a valid driving licence.

Qualificações

• RICS accreditation or legal background would be beneficial, not essential.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, landowners and Local Authorities.
• Experience with estates and surveying and familiarity with deeds/wayleaves is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate specialist consents, wayleaves, easements and agreements for distribution assets.
• Settle damage claims and assess impact of work on customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and investigate estate-related matters.
• Lead and train staff on wayleaves, easements, consents and agreements.
• Introduce new techniques/methods for wayleaves and related agreements.
• Monitor site risks and mandatory safety reporting; ensure contractor quality and compliance.
