Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead water and wastewater projects across Scotland. You will oversee site teams, ensure safe delivery to programme, and maintain high SHEQ standards.

Join a leading infrastructure team focusing on maintenance, renewal and improvement of vital water networks. You will coordinate resources, manage subcontractors and report progress to the Project Manager on a regular basis.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience managing construction/civil engineering projects.
• Experience delivering water, wastewater or infrastructure projects.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee site teams and deliver water, wastewater and civil engineering works safely and to programme.
• Maintain high standards of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ); conduct site inspections and audits.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation and procedures.
• Monitor costs, manage resources and support commercial controls and efficiency targets.
• Plan labour, plant and materials to meet construction programmes and milestones.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate work packages for effective delivery.
• Identify risks and delays and implement solutions early.
• Coordinate site activities including land access and highway possessions within local communities.
• Maintain relationships with clients, landowners and stakeholders; report to the Project Manager.
