Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Chemical & Wastewater Solutions division. You will oversee projects from enquiry through handover, managing safety, quality, time and budget while coordinating multidisciplinary teams including engineers, site managers and subcontractors.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, experience in hazardous environments, and a proven project management track record.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in hazardous environments (chlorine gas or methanol dosing preferred).
• Water sector experience is advantageous.
• Proven track record in project management with engineering/supervisory background.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects from enquiry to handover, controlling scope, cost and schedule.
• Direct and allocate work to trades, engineers, and subcontractors with focus on safety and quality.
• Ensure technical information is available for design/construction delivery.
• Manage project quality deliverables and client quality systems.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, prepare documentation and As-Built drawings.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances during design and construction.
• Develop tender, design and construction programmes and manage them throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee change management and contractual mechanisms for extensions and claims.
• Manage budget, forecasting and P&L responsibilities.
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor engagement, including H&S documentation.
