Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Project Leader to join our water sector team in the UK. You’ll work on deliverables across feasibility, design, construction and commissioning, partnering with site teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role blends project management with design engineering, offering a clear path to chartership and cross-discipline growth. You will lead multi-disciplinary design and field teams, coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical and process engineers,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering
• Working towards professional qualification
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a project triangle with a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to balance technical, constructability and commercial delivery
• Lead design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to handover
• Coordinate the project team across civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and specialists to meet programme, budget and quality
• Undertake design in own discipline and mentor junior colleagues
• Build relationships with client teams to promote a one-team approach
