Job summary

Severn Trent plc is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction, maintenance and capital works. You will coordinate teams, manage logistics, and ensure activities meet safety, quality and regulatory standards on site.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure while reporting to the Team Manager and supporting audits and handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing construction, maintenance or utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe systems of work.
• Confident communicating with multiple teams and keeping on-site coordination.
• Experience with permit-to-work systems and managing contractors is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of construction, maintenance and capital works on site.
• Lead daily site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Coordinate on-site workforce and manage logistics, inductions and site access.
• Monitor progress against project timelines and escalate risks to Team Manager.
