Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee Potable Tank Remedial projects across Central / Warwickshire / Gloucestershire. You will ensure work is safe, on time, and on budget, coordinating between in-house teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

You’ll manage pre-construction checks, RAMS approvals, and on-site activities, while maintaining records and upholding health, safety, water quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent field of study.
• Strong background in site supervision and engineering.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Proven experience managing site safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS).
• Good knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Confident using site management software and MS Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site remedial and construction activities to high standards.
• Conduct pre-construction checks and enable works; approve RAMS.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance; maintain records.
• Liaise with in-house teams, contractors and stakeholders; manage budgets.
• Investigate incidents with the Project Manager and implement corrective actions.
• Attend site meetings; represent Severn Trent Water with professionalism.
• Support project reviews and capture lessons learned for future work.
