Matchtech is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team working on water mains renewal and infrastructure projects across the Thames Water network from Maple Cross (Rickmansworth). The role focuses on commercial management, cost control, forecasting, contract administration, and risk management to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Qualificações

• Experience in construction/utilities/infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with NEC contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in cost reporting and forecasting.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Membership with RICS/ICES is desirable.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Chartered status is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial and cost control aspects of water mains renewal projects across the Thames Water framework.
• Assist with project budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Provide commercial and contractual support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Administer NEC contracts and support contractual obligations and risks.
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment, compensation events, and variations.
• Monitor project performance and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Assist in final accounts preparation and agreement.
• Support procurement activities and subcontractor management.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Produce monthly commercial reports and project forecasts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery teams.
